It definitely helps you appreciate the end result that much more!

SnowBird UT for my Anniversary

Here are a few pics from Snow Bird Utah, where we spent the evening for our Anniversary. Click on any of them to get a little better view. These photos all use the High Dynamic Range (HDR) technique of shooting.

Photos of recent camping trip…

Each year the men in my family take a camping trip to our central-Idaho secret, Bayhorse (shh…).  Here are a few recent pics I took while up there.  The weather sucked but I snuck in a few good shots.

BayHorseKilns

Old brick kilns near the ghost town of Bayhorse.  It’s an old mining town.

A few more shots…

This shot is of downtown Logan UT. Now that is banking…

JoesValleyLake

This is at Joes Valley Reservoir.  We recently finished a Girls Camp there that my wife was in charge of.  I was the peon for moving heavy things and making sure the girls didn’t cut their fingers off or anything…

LargeBird

At Joes Valley, this hawk or whatever it is had a huge nest near our camp.

HappyColaCan

The other guy who was with me to help with the camp found this on a hike.  I googled it and found no info on “happy time” cola.  Let me know if you know anything!

Fields and Farms Photography

Here are a few recent shots I have taken of farms, farmer’s fields, barns and such.  I used a technique called HDR (High Dynamic Range) with most of them which is simply a process of taking multiple exposures and combining them to get greater color depths and dynamic range of light as the name suggests.  If you want more info, check here.
